We had a fabulous stay at this country house! The location is perfect, nestled just outside the old town on the slopes of the hills. It was so peaceful and serene, with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. We loved that we could easily walk to the nearby restaurants, enjoying delicious meals at our leisure. The room was clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all of our needs were met. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool area, where we could relax and soak in the stunning view. it was a wonderful experience.
The only downside was that there were no air conditioning units in the room.

Simply gorgeous! a small jewel! great area, nice people. the accommodation and the whole environment are perfect for a relaxed family holiday. views and the pool make everything even more beautiful. the complex is well equipped, there are barbecue areas and even a washing machine. (almost) everything has been thought of. In the village you can find everything, bakery, fresh fruits and vegetables, really good restaurants and even a nice little vinotheque...,just wonderful! We felt very well.

ingenious situation with wonderful panoramic view, friendly and attentive host, nice pool with wonderful water! heavenly silence, to slow down and relax hardly anything better is possible! nice big room with kitchenette (even with oven + big fridge), well equipped. well-kept complex with own parking lot only for guests. for breakfast you have to "climb up" to the village, to a small bar with a very nice owner, inhabitants are very friendly and communicative! real gem to experience typical italy! an additional thanks to the friendly lady in the touri-info, she was so enthusiastic that she could hardly be stopped - so definitely worth a visit!
there is nothing at all - maybe the sunbeds at the pool could be provided with pads to increase the comfort, that is no criticism, only a suggestion!

The view from the property and pool area was absolutely breathtaking. the host was very kind and accommodating, making changes to our reservation with no hassle. the breakfast provided was delicious, and we were even given the option to order additional items if desired. the location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us easy access to several excellent restaurants and other amenities in the surrounding area.
We had some issues with the shower water temperature, which fluctuated wildly from very cold to scorching hot without any control. It made it nearly impossible to take a comfortable shower.

location of the apartment house is very spectacular, directly at the edge of the medieval village with a great view over the maremma, on a clear day you can actually see the sea. place is very small and lovely. there are some restaurants. we liked the ones we visited very much! a small coop that has everything necessary, coffee and a croissant (included in the price) is available a few stairs higher in a small blackmail bar, there we were served nicely and coffee tasted very good. relaxed start into the holiday day. our host was friendly and always available for questions. we found the apartment as well as the staircase and pool very pleasant and clean. we also liked the fact that in the evenings. We also found it very nice that in the evening you could walk to the village for dinner, then a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets to the viewpoint at the end of the village!
We don't really think of anything .. we felt comfortable. If you want an individual vacation in "real" Italy without mass tourism, this is the place for you.

Free pool and BBQ, charming Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia nearby, various restaurants. Amenities include free WiFi, tour assistance, and a picnic area. Housekeeping once per stay. Enjoy the pool and BBQ area with WiFi. Nearest airport is Marina di Campo. Such a magical land.
Oh, there was absolutely nothing I didn't like about my stay. Perfect in every way, of course.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with beautiful traditional Tuscan touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the terrace and pool, were easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was such a delight to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside. The children working there were so helpful and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay.
I would have loved if there had been more activities or amenities specifically catered towards senior people.

The Tuscan-style apartments at Residence Il Ciliegio are like little havens of comfort and convenience. With an equipped kitchenette, I felt like a master chef preparing meals to rival those on Masterchef Italia. The flat-screen TV was my trusty companion during lazy evenings, and the private bathroom made me feel like royalty.
Cleaning days not included.
